What is more, the album also contains 21 tips regarding the photography technique needed to take similar pictures! Everything is beautifully presented! The book is a precious publication, aim of which is to not only to reach aviation enthusiasts, but also to inspire those who haven′t yet woke up the passion.
Sławek hesja Krajniewski
was born on Polish Army Day in a home of his Mom who was a painter and Dad, a school principal, and so from the beginning this gave him a love of the military, art and a possession of good organization skills.
Hesja’s adventure in the field of photography began in the late 70's with a Soviet made Smyena Camera. Later on he used a Zenit camera, leading to a photography-related education in his high school for almost
4 years. Later Sławek bought his first Nikon camera, something that started his relationship with this Japanese manufacturer. This relationship presented itself not only through his use of Nikon equipment, but also through making the world of Nikon users more socially active. Up until November 2009 hesja has been the president of the Nikon Club Poland, and currently he is a Nikon Academy lecturer.
Sławek Krajniewski is privileged to be a founder and president of the Air-Action Association of Polish Aviation Photographers (www.spfl.pl).
It was back in 2010 when he started Hesja's Highs project, involving photo-exhibitions and albums featuring his aviation photography. In 2012 he was awarded the Lotnicze Orły 2011 (Aviation Eagles 2011) in the aviation photography category. His portfolio includes photography across every field, but it is aviation that is the dominant theme. The main trait of hesja’s photography is the fact that he strive to create paintings, not only to freeze the time using his shutter.
Parallel to his photo passion hesja started to fall in love with aviation. It all started when he read Arkady Fiedler's 303rd Squadron and the thunder of Sukhoi Su-7 afterburners flying over his village. The passion has not ended as it hasn’t in case of many boys who dream of becoming a pilot. It was constantly developing. He has graduated from the Military Academy of Technology with a major in aviation and he is working at the Air Force Institute of Technology in Warsaw - in the heart of Polish military aviation technology development. Despite working in a serious institution and being over 40 years old the child-like fantasy remains in him, and his head is constantly pointed up looking at the passing aircraft, with much excitement.
